The Department of Physical Education in Prince Dr. K. Vasudevan College of Engineering & Technology was established in the year 2009.

PDKVCET committed to promote sports in the institution by providing excellent sports facilities and systematic coaching program. Sports is an essential and integral part of every human being.

The goal of the Department of Physical Education is to encourage technical students to participate in sports and games in order to lead a healthy lifestyle. It also aims to teach them discipline, leadership skills, and teamwork. The Department of Physical Education has all the necessary equipment so that students can practise and take part in all sporting events both indoors and outdoors. Our college encourages students who join under sports quota.

In order to develop sports activities, we conduct a SPORTS DAY every year in different disciplines for both men and women. Every year our College students will represent the State and university level tournaments in the different sports & games.
